Connecting Communities

At LAVC, we serve Clinton County, Eaton County, and Ingham County, MI, fostering connections between veterans and their local communities. Through our various initiatives, we aim to create a supportive network that addresses the unique challenges faced by military families.

Our Purpose

The Lansing Area Veterans Coalition is committed to connecting veterans and their dependents to a wide range of resources, including the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Our purpose is to ensure that all veterans in the Lansing area have the support they need to lead fulfilling lives after their service.

Empowering Veterans, Enhancing Lives

We're dedicated to serving those who've served us, providing resources that meet needs and enhance lives. From educational opportunities to employment assistance, healthcare support, and initiatives aimed at improving overall quality of life, LAVC is here to empower veterans in our community.

Our Pillars

Our organization is built upon four essential pillars: education, employment, healthcare, and quality of life. Through collaboration with local organizations, businesses, and individuals, we strive to create a supportive environment where veterans can thrive in all aspects of their lives.

  1. Education: Connected to top-notch educational institutions and programs, we offer veterans opportunities to expand their skills, pursue new careers, or simply indulge in their passion for learning.

  2. Employment: We're linked with a wide range of employment agencies and businesses seeking to hire veterans, facilitating pathways to meaningful employment opportunities.

  3. Healthcare: From physical health to mental wellness, we're committed to ensuring veterans have access to the best care possible, addressing their healthcare needs comprehensively.

  4. Quality of Life: Life is more than just education, employment, and healthcare. That's why we're dedicated to enhancing the overall quality of life for veterans in our community, supporting their well-being and fulfillment beyond basic necessities.
